When is a person considered ill?
According to TCM, every disturbance of the flow of Qi or Xue – due to a cold, moisture, unwholesome nutrition or mental health factors, for example – interferes with the harmonic interaction and manifests itself in different disease related symptoms. Through accurate analysis and evaluation of these symptoms Eastern medicine identifies the source of the disturbance. This is done by using the special diagnostic approaches of TCM.
Western evidence-based medicine can’t quite comprehend this.
