Zutaten

  • 400g cauliflower
  • 3 pieces of celery
  • 2 peeled pears
  • ½ onion
  • 1 piece of ginger (about 5cm)
  • ½ Tbsp vegetable broth
  • ½ tsp ground cumin and cinnamon
  • Parsley or coriander - garnish

Tipps

Cauliflower, also known under many other names, is not only very cheap in the winter months, it is also rich in vitamin C and minerals. The vitamin C is only released by the cooking process. A slightly unpleasant side effect of cauliflower is that it can make you feel bloated.

A hot tip: cooking cauliflower with a pinch of ground cumin relieves the flatulent effect.

Zubereitung

  1. Part the cauliflower into florets. Dice pears and onion. Cut celery into rings.
  2. Add all of the ingredients into the jug, pour in cold water until in between both marks. Select program 2 and start.
  3. Divide the soup into a bowls. Sprinkle with parsley or roasted walnuts.
